Bear with me here, these are basically my first ever pan shots. I wish I had gotten shots from Sunday, I'm kinda bummed I missed action shots from the wreck on the final few laps. Also, of course I'm sad I missed a shot of #9 Chase Elliot doing his celebratory burnout. I've never shot a motorsport before. Now that I have, I must say the experience of being that close to the cars, while trying to catch one moment of them is exhilarating. Not ever shot it perfect and I know that (I'm still not sure how that photo of #42 Kyle Larson came out the way it did) but I still want to post as much as I can to keep track of progress. I can't wait for New Hampshire, Pocono and Watkins Glen next year. Hopefully by then I'll have a better lens for distance, I'm currently working a remedy for my distance issue with my 70-300mm lens. Until then, I'm relieved I got some good shots I can be proud of. Enjoy!
Shot on Nikon D3400 (lens 70-300mm, 18-55mm)
